Fellowship Dinner

Join us in song! Fellowship Dinner, the Church’s annual celebration of long-time membership and committee service, will be an evening of singing hymns and favorite songs.  Emcee Ted Haller will lead choir members, instrumentalists, children and everyone else in singing. We will honor 15- year, 25-year, 35-year, 50-year, and 50+-year members as well as outgoing committee chairs and this year's Sung Chair Award recipient at the dinner.  It will be on Friday, April 18, this year.

The evening will begin with wine and appetizers at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:45 p.m. and a program to follow.  The menu will include both a vegetarian option and an omnivore option.  The entrée choice will be between chicken Gruyere (lightly breaded chicken tenders in broth with fresh mushrooms and topped with Gruyere cheese) and grilled Portobello mushroom stuffed with spinach and couscous.  Both menus include:

  • wild rice and orzo with cranberries, golden raisins, pecans, scallions, and parsley seasoned with orange juice;
  • salad of Romaine, grapes, brie, walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette;
  • baby carrots with orange butter;  and
  • rolls and butter

Dessert will be sheet cake.  Wine and sparkling juice will be provided.

Childcare will be provided.

Sign-ups will be available in Fellowship Hall after each service beginning on March 23 and going through April 13.  Please indicate at sign-up which menu option you prefer.  Cost is $15 per person at sign-up.
